The Play Side serves Grades 1 through 6. Students are grouped by social and cognitive milestones: The Junior Pod(Grade  3, The Intermediate Pod (Grade 4), and The Senior Pod (Grade 5). A brief intake conversation helps us place each child in the right group from day one.

Our program features a flat monthly fee of 400 USD, which includes three 40-minute sessions per week. This also covers full access to our online learning portal, available 24/7 for continuous study.

Since HomeSchool PlayLab is an online center, your child should be prepared with a few "digital" and physical essentials to make the most of their 40-minute sessions:

A Reliable Device: A laptop or tablet with a working webcam and microphone.

A Focused Environment: A quiet, distraction-free workspace and a pair of headphones to help them stay engaged with the group.

Traditional Tools: A dedicated notebook and pencils. Even in a digital classroom, handwriting is key to mastering our Math and Vedic Mathematics techniques.

Portal Access: Their 24/7 learning portal login credentials to access real-time resources and assignments.

We recommend that students log in 5 minutes early to test their connection and equipment so they are ready to dive in as soon as the session begins!

Our program runs throughout the year (except on public holidays). We recommend attending all 3 sessions (each session is for 40 mins) per week for steady, compounding progress.  

Our fees are fixed $400 pm is the fixed monthly fees for the program.

Unlike traditional tutoring, which is often reactive, we provide structured, proactive learning paths for Grades 3–6. Absolutely. While Core Math Mastery is our primary focus, we believe in a holistic approach to learning. We seamlessly blend STEM principles into our curriculum, allowing students to see how mathematical logic applies to science, technology, and engineering in the real world. This cross-disciplinary method ensures that children don't just learn formulas—they understand how they function within a broader, integrated system.

Our program is designed exclusively for children and families who are currently homeschooling. Because we understand the unique journey of home education, we have built a curriculum and schedule specifically to support and supplement the homeschooling lifestyle. This focus allows us to foster a tight-knit community of like-minded families dedicated to holistic, logic-based learning.

 We do not assign mandatory homework in the traditional sense. However, we strongly encourage students to engage in regular revision at home to reinforce the concepts covered in our sessions. 

To support this, every student has 24/7 access to our online learning portal. This virtual space is designed for self-paced learning and extra practice, empowering students to build their confidence and mastery independently.

No, we are not a registered school. We are a private enrichment lab that focuses on specialized math development and holistic child intelligence. By operating as a private program, we have the flexibility to blend rigorous Core Math Mastery with high-energy laughter yoga and mindfulness—creative and physical activities that you won't typically find in a traditional classroom setting.

No. As a private homeschool program, our students are not required to participate in state-mandated standardized testing. Instead of teaching to a test, we focus on deep conceptual understanding and mastery through hands-on play, while providing parents with regular updates on their child's individual progress.

Our schedule is rooted in the science of distributed practice. By meeting three times a week with intentional gaps, we prevent cognitive overload and ensure that 'Core Math Mastery' is moved from short-term to long-term memory more effectively than daily cramming.

Absolutely. While Math is our primary focus, our program is designed to meet the full Texas state core requirements. We seamlessly integrate Reading, Spelling, Grammar, and Good Citizenship into our "Fun for Play" curriculum. 

By applying these skills to real-world challenges and collaborative projects, we provide a well-rounded educational experience that satisfies all state mandates for private homeschools.

Because our program is mastery-based and chapter-sequential, missed sessions can affect a student's progression. We ask parents to communicate absences in advance. Makeup arrangements are handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the instructor. Please note that fees are not refunded for missed sessions.

We operate as an intensive, online boutique program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We do not offer sessions on Wednesdays, Fridays, or weekends. HomeSchool PlayLab is a boutique homeschool learning center, DBA of Academeer Inc in Argyle, TX. We provide collaborative, mastery-based math enrichment for homeschool families — we are NOT a registered school or licensed daycare. Parents retain full responsibility for their child's primary education.

The Play Side (Morning Sessions | Grades 3–6)

As a specialized academic lab rather than a daycare or full-day school, we maximize this timeframe to build deep arithmetic mastery through our unique "Logic & Joy" approach.

HomeSchool PlayLab is a **fully online boutique learning center**. All sessions are conducted virtually through our secure, interactive classroom platform. This allows your child to participate from the comfort and safety of your home, regardless of your location. 

In addition to our live virtual sessions, students have 24/7 access to our online learning portal for self-paced revision and continued study. While we are proudly based in Denton, Texas, our "classroom" is accessible wherever you have a stable internet connection!

To secure your student's placement, all tuition fees must be paid in advance.

This is an annual enrollment program with a monthly tuition of 400 USD. Please note that all payments are final, and we do not offer refunds once registration and payment are complete.

**Cancellation:** 

If you need to cancel your enrollment, a strict 30-day written notice is required.

Absolutely. Our mastery-based approach allows us to meet every student exactly where they are. Because no student advances until they have fully mastered their current chapter, there is never any pressure to "keep up" with a group that has moved ahead. Whether your child needs to fill foundational gaps or is ready to accelerate beyond their grade level, our program adapts to their unique pace.

Yes. We offer a one trial session to ensure our program is the right fit for your family. Additionally, we conduct a brief initial assessment before formal enrollment to identify your child's current level. This ensures every student begins exactly where they need to—avoiding the frustration of being placed too far ahead or the boredom of repeating material they have already mastered.

At HomeSchool PlayLab, we use a "Pod" model to foster collaborative learning and social development. By grouping two grade levels together, we create a dynamic environment where students can learn from one another—older students build leadership skills by mentoring, while younger students are inspired by more advanced concepts. This multi-age approach allows us to focus on developmental stages rather than just birth years, ensuring each child finds their perfect balance of challenge and support.

Because HomeSchool PlayLab is an enrichment center rather than a traditional school, we have the unique flexibility to put your child’s needs first. 

We perform ongoing evaluations of each student's progress; if we find a student has mastered their current curriculum and is ready for a greater challenge, we can move them to the next Pod. 

Our priority is building a rock-solid foundation in math mastery, so while we won't rush the process, we are always ready to adapt to your child’s natural pace.
